We'll walk, talk, find the light and make photographs along the way. The goal isn't to make you perform for the camera. It's to give you enough room to forget about it. That's usually when the photograph starts to feel like you.
Keep it simple.
A portrait session shouldn't feel like a production. We'll decide what makes sense and take it from there.

Tell me who you are, what you're looking for and what kind of photographs you want.
The session
We walk, talk and photograph. I'll guide you when it helps, but very little needs to be posed.
After
I go through the session, select the strongest photographs and carefully finish them.
Delivery
Your finished photographs are delivered digitally and ready to keep, share and print.
Prices
No complicated packages and no pressure. Choose the amount of time that makes sense.

I'm interested in people, not performances.
I photograph people in a relaxed, straightforward way. I'm drawn to soft light, expression, small moments and the things that happen when someone stops thinking about having their photograph taken.
You don't have to be comfortable in front of a camera. That's part of my job.
I want the finished photograph to look like you on a very good day — not like somebody asked you to become somebody else.
